Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell isn’t too impressed with President Barack Obama bringing John Podesta to the White House.

In fact, the Republican leader said that the former White House chief of staff Podesta is joining a sinking ship.

“The issue [Obama] wanted to be most associated with is a failure, and no amount of shifting the chairs around on the Titanic is going to solve that problem,” McConnell told reporters, referring to Obamacare, which McConnell spent a significant chunk of time attacking on Tuesday.

( QUIZ: How well do you know Mitch McConnell?)

A former chief of staff for Bill Clinton and prominent figure within the Democratic Party, Podesta is joiningthe White House as a counselor to help right the bungled Obamacare rollout as well as advise the president on executive actions.
