Brexit Files Briefing Calls – March 2 & 19

Brexit Pro subscribers have access to exclusive Brexit Files Briefing calls analyzing each round of negotiation talks between the UK and the EU. The next calls will take place on Friday 2nd March and Monday 19th March, at 11am CET.

Agenda

After the mutual back-slapping of a the agreement on Phase 1 in December and sufficient progress, the Brexit negotiations have got bad tempered again. Earlier this month, the EU’s Michel Barnier warned that a Brexit transition is “not a given” while U.K. Brexit Secretary David Davis slammed the “fundamental contradiction” at the heart of the Commission’s approach. Despite the bluster though, both sides want a transition deal — and they are under severe time pressure to negotiate one.

Join POLITICO’s Brexit Editor James Randerson on 2nd March at 11am CET for an exclusive conference call for Brexit Pros. Joined by Chief Brussels Correspondent David Herszenhorn and Westminster-based Brexit Correspondent Charlie Cooper they will cut through the negotiating bluster and assess progress towards a transition deal.

And on 19th March at 11am CET, the team will get together for another exclusive call just days before the crucial European Council summit which will set the stage for the most complex stage of the Brexit talks — on the U.K.’s future relationship with the EU.

We want you to get as much value as possible out of this call. Submit a question to [email protected] ahead of time and we will answer it live.
