Donald Trump said he would “love” to fight Vice President Joe Biden during a Florida rally on Tuesday night.

“Did you see where Biden wants to take me to the back of the barn? Me. He wants to. I’d love that. I’d love that. Mr. Tough Guy,” the Republican nominee told supporters at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum.

His statements came after Biden suggested he could take the Republican presidential candidate “behind the gym” on Friday while stumping for Hillary Clinton.

“The press always asks me: Don’t I wish I were debating him?” Biden said. ”No, I wish I were in high school, I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish.”

Trump also said if it had been him hinting at fighting the vice president, he would come under heavier criticism. “If I said that, they’d say: ‘He’s violent. How could he have done that,’” he said.

“You know, he’s Mr. Tough Guy. You know when he’s Mr. Tough Guy? When he’s standing behind the microphone by himself — that’s when,” Trump added. “Some things in life you could really love doing.”

The nominee extended his boxing motif to a discussion of his Democratic rival for president.

“Let’s knock out Hillary Clinton,” Trump said. “She’s as crooked as a three-dollar bill.”
